Happy September!
We’ve experienced an incredible month at Freedom In Jesus Initiative, with many individuals receiving personal ministry, prayer, and deliverance. We’d like to share a brief testimony of what God has done in Monika’s life as an example of the transformative work He continues to accomplish through our ministry.
In a great effort of brevity, I will attempt to express my experience with this ministry in a short paragraph. Asking, Seeking, Knocking. I was desperate. My son passed away from diabetic ketoacidosis. I had gained 80 pounds. My husband almost divorced me. During the pandemic we moved and never found a new church home. I stopped praying because I somehow understood I never knew how. The Lord wasn’t who I thought He was, and I wasn’t who I thought I was as a daughter of the Most High. How could this all be happening? I was silent with the Lord. I could feel Him so close, but I chose not to speak to him. I just didn’t know what to say to Him anymore. This was my condition when I found Freedom in Jesus Initiative. I met with Cameron and Cindy in their home, a very reluctant husband in tow. After some difficult conversation and many tears, the Holy Spirit led them both, guiding me down a very peaceful and beautiful path of repentance, renouncing and breaking agreements both from my own choices and those of my ancestors. Then a simple, yet powerful prayer. I felt it. That warm, Holy Spirit fire, ever so gently filling the center of my body, and covering my head and shoulders. Then the shift came. My mind was my own again. I didn’t realize I had lost dominion, but now I could see. The lies, the veil of being lost and unloved, all exposed. My hope was renewed. This experience launched me down a path of healing, and an ever growing, deeply rooted relationship with the Lord. I’m learning how to trust the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and He is teaching me who I am. I am so grateful the Lord has given Cameron & Cindy the passion in their hearts to persevere and pursue their own callings. They are such beautiful examples of humility and greatness in the Lord! Thank you both!!
Each week, we encounter Christians who are devoted followers and servants of Christ, yet find themselves struggling with spiritual warfare, emotional instability, health concerns, and difficulties in their relationships. Many share that they have wrestled with these challenges for years—even decades—without finding lasting freedom.
These struggles can become significant obstacles, preventing individuals from experiencing the peace, freedom, and abundant life that God desires for them.
Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 17:20, “If you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Time and time again, the Holy Spirit has led us to walk alongside individuals and help guide them into an encounter with Jesus. Christ alone is our burden bearer (Matthew 11:28–29), and through His ministry, people can lay aside the burdens that have weighed them down and run with endurance the race God has set before them (Hebrews 12:1–2).
If you are struggling spiritually or are in need of ministry, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We would be honored to walk alongside you as you seek the freedom, healing, and peace that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
Share Your Testimony
If the Lord has brought freedom and transformation into your life through this ministry, we encourage you to partner with what He is doing by sharing your testimony. There are several ways you can do this. You can write out your testimony and send it to us, contact us about recording a video testimony, or simply begin sharing with the people in your own life what God has done for you.
Throughout Scripture, we see how personal testimonies can open the door for others to encounter Jesus. The testimony of the man delivered from demons in the region of the Gerasenes (Luke 8:26–39) and the testimony of the woman at the well (John 4:1–42) helped open the door for many others to come to Christ.
Your story may be the very encouragement someone else needs to seek freedom.
Partner With Us
We are also praying for additional individuals and churches who feel called to partner with this ministry through prayer and financial support.
We are believing God for an additional $2,000 in committed monthly support. These funds will help us develop the infrastructure needed to add additional counselors, allowing us to minister to more individuals seeking freedom and healing. They will also enable us to expand our ministry partnerships with churches throughout the United States and around the world.
Your prayers and financial partnership help make it possible for us to continue serving those who are seeking freedom in Christ.
Upcoming Ministry Opportunities
We are currently planning a conference in the Midwest for November, designed to equip pastors and ministry leaders with the ministry processes and principles we have developed. We are coordinating this effort with Go Find Jesus Ministries, whose mission closely aligns with what God has called us to do. We are still finalizing the details and logistics, but we anticipate being able to share more information in our next ministry update.
We have also been invited to travel to India early next year to provide on-site training for a missions organization in Kolkata. This ministry focuses on rescuing women from sex work, leading them to Christ, and helping connect them with sustainable sources of income within their communities.
Their leadership team has asked us to provide training on how to help these women overcome spiritual bondage as they disciple them in their walk with Christ. Our goal is to take a small team of volunteers to India at no cost to the ministry in Kolkata and provide a training seminar for their leadership team.
We are excited about these opportunities and are trusting God to provide the resources, people, and support necessary to move forward.
How You Can Help
If you feel led to give toward one of these specific needs, please indicate the purpose of your gift when making your donation.
Most importantly, we ask you to continue praying for the individuals and families we have the privilege of serving, for the expansion of this ministry, and for the doors God is opening both locally and internationally.
Thank you for standing with us as we seek to see people encounter Jesus, experience freedom, and walk fully in the life He has called them to live.
